We were tasked to review AccuWeather’s Direct and Programmatic sales structure and execution and provide a set of recommendations on industry best practices. Results of the engagement were a complete restructuring of the team and a realignment of all sales under the Chief Revenue Officer. The entire sales organization was built, the role of account managers was implemented, programmatic tech stacks rebuilt and the sales compensation plan rewritten/architected.
The result was a substantial lift in digital revenue both programmatic and direct sales. This engagement also leads to the formation of a product office and a restructuring of the technology team.
