PREMIUM BRAND, PACKAGING DESIGN & DESIGN SYSTEM POSITIONED PRODUCT EXPANSION

OVERVIEW

Regal Springs is at an inflection point in their business. They dominate the premium Tilapia market with 90% market share however 98% of that is private label. Previous to working with us, the brand had not been established.

RESULT

Our task was to effectively address the following opportunities:

  • The branded products are only sold in very limited grocery stores.
  • Consumer research shows that the current Identity and packaging do not stand out.
  • Current packaging fails to properly communicate the key competitive advantages.

Our solution was to design a clean and modern visual identity and packaging design system for the Regal Springs Mojarra Mexicana product line that attracts consumers and delivers a premium look and appetite appeal. We developed a persuasive, Regal Springs story and proper hierarchy for the key competitive claims on packaging. Our premium branded design system was established for product portfolio growth, shopability, brand awareness and to help improve profit margin.
