Chameleon Collective provided a WordPress Developer and ADA expert to join the Great Hearts team. Her task was to provide maintenance to the different Great Hearts sites and update them to be ADA compliant. Great Heart is a network of public schools dedicated to improve education nationwide and has over 30 different academy sites. The challenge Great Hearts will continue to experience, is making sure all their current sites pass ADA compliance and they engage Chameleon Collective to help with this task
In the past couple of months, she has worked on over 12 sites and continues to work and check the compliance of all academy sites. She has used multiple tools and done manual checks to improve, test and fix any errors to make the sites compliant. Due to the number of sites, she’s been tackling 2 websites a week to keep with the desired schedule requested by Great Hearts.
She has created a schedule to organize and move forward with the challenge requested and use the latest tools available to achieve the best accessibility compliance possible for their academy sites.
