Chris has years of experience across the automotive industry starting where his automotive career began leading digital media projects for Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge. Later, he worked at General Motors on an early project for Saturn to innovate in online car buying and eventually went to work at Team Detroit (Wunderman) where he was the Vice President of Digital Strategy for Lincoln and Ford green cars. He eventually worked with Toyota and Lexus where he led content media strategy for new vehicle launches including the Mirai fuel cell at CES.
He has also worked with Top Down Automative on setting up all of their digital analytics and paid media tracking for Google Analytics 4, working closely with their ecommerce and paid media team.
While his depth in digital marketing in automotive is extensive, Chris isn’t just a marketer. He is a true car guy. He used to write about automotive marketing for High Gear Media and several blogs and has been covered by AdAge on car related topics. For a while, he was a top 50 automotive influencer on Twitter.
Away from the computer, Chris is gear head too where he does all the maintenance and care on his cars. Plus, he has been known to change out alternators, fuel lines, idle control valves, coil packs, to name some recent weekend projects. His extensive home auto shop is well stocked down to a hydraulic car lift and engine hoist.
