Chris is currently teaching Advanced Digital & Social Media Marketing at UCLA. He is lauded by his students for how current and useful his course lecture is from post course assessments. He has also taught social and growth marketing training to internal colleagues when he lead digital media for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) and was head of social media for AT&T.
As the former global head of social media for AT&T, Chris has led social marketing strategy and campaigns for large and complex organizations. He has reworked content strategy for several clients including Nintendo, Toyota, and Westfield malls. In addition, he has lead social media content strategy for small to mid-sized firms including School of PE, Dion Training, and King’s Hawaiian.
Chris is also well-versed with social analytics and management tools including Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout Social and many others. He also designed the data architecture and reports for AT&T’s Social Media Command Center that won a CIO award.
He has presented at several key events on brand best practices in social media. Past speaking events include CES, SxSW, Social Media Explorer, BlogWorld and many more. He was also on NPR Marketplace discussing how brands should handle a crisis in social media.
