Marketing Communications Strategist
Dorree Gurdak is a strategic global marketing professional with over 20 years of agency experience. Her area of expertise is developing integrated, breakthrough campaigns that reach both media and consumers. She most recently led the Boston consumer practice of Weber Shandwick for 10 years, before venturing out on her own.
During her agency tenure, Dorree collaborated with several clients including partnering with Ocean Spray for more than fifteen years where she launched numerous products for the cooperative. She and her team created the “Bogs Across America” campaign that centered on creating a make-shift bog of 2,000 pounds of cranberries in iconic urban centers. Additionally, she took the brand to the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics and then worked on a global communications team overseeing product launches and communications in Asia and Europe. Most recently, she led the Maine Lobster Marketing Collaborative’s marketing efforts and created the “Maine After Midnight” series of events attracting both chefs and media to learn more about Maine Lobster. She also worked with Staples, Inc where she launched a campaign titled “Appreciate Your Pro” that celebrated office managers and other small business professionals.
