Grace is an award winning, hardworking and goal-driven brand marketing, public communications and digital brand strategy manager with 15 industry awards and over 9 years of professional experience. She grew up watching her family work tirelessly in the flower shop they owned and developed a passion for retail at a young age. The spirit of entrepreneurship was passed onto her and became the catalyst for her undergraduate studies in retail management and marketing.
Upon graduation, Grace began working for Haberdash, a groundbreaking menswear retailer based in Chicago. In just 9 months, she grew from a marketing assistant to the Director of Brand Communication. During her tenure, she opened 3 store locations, launched an internationally recognized e-commerce site, developed and managed brand voice and direction and secured placements in top publications like GQ, Esquire, MR Magazine, WSJ, and more.
Grace then made a change to the non-profit sector and joined the team at the Chicago History Museum as the Marketing and Communications Manager. This role further developed her event production and management skills as she led creative direction, marketing and communications, and execution for events like the City of Chicago’s Museum Week, Chicago Hot Dog Fest, and The Last Speakeasy. She was also tasked with branding and marketing several exhibitions including Chicago Styled, Chicago Authored, Secret Life of Objects and Lincoln’s Undying Words.
Craving a combination of her passions, Grace then joined the team at Zapwater Communications where she provided counsel and strategic communications direction for clients in several industries including retail, lifestyle, consumer, aviation and travel, and hospitality. Top clients include Ball Horticulture, Birdies Slippers, Kiehl’s Since 1851, World Airways, Icelandair, The Barre Code, Interior Define, and Hollywood and Highland. Grace has proven success in securing national print, broadcast and online coverage for clients in top publications such as Real Simple, Traditional Home, Bravo TV, The Huffington Post, and many more. (Mentioned placements resulted in over 12.3 million impressions.) Most notably, Grace is known for her work with influencers and celebrities, including placing Birdies Slippers on Meghan Markle.
Grace is incredibly committed to professional growth and becoming a communications expert across industries and seized an opportunity to work with healthcare clients at Ten Adams. In this role, she led hospital clients in the strategic development of brand and service line marketing initiatives.
In 2019, Grace joined the Chameleon Collective to bring her diverse, multi-industry experience to its world-renowned client base. Grace’s omni-channel approach to brand communications ensures that no stone is left unturned and her clients are represented appropriately across all touch points.
