Rachael started her career in hotel operations with Marriott and then moved into Marketing for Island Outpost, Air Jamaica Vacations, and Sandals Resorts International. Under the marketing umbrella Rachael managed the direct marketing efforts for 13 boutique hotels between Miami, the Bahamas and Jamaica, handled wholesaler accounts and sponsorships, ran events and implemented a loyalty program for 18 hotels across the Caribbean. During her time at Air Jamaica Vacations Rachael’s team was responsible for the sponsorship of NASCAR #26 owned by Dave Carroll which entailed marketing and promotional efforts associated with maximizing the sponsorship.
Holding a true love for the travel industry she has worked with tourist boards, travel agents and wholesalers, PR companies, managed press groups, worked directly with CEOs in creating marketing strategy, and remotely managed hotel operations staff for implementation. Rachael also worked alongside the PR, Advertising and Operations departments to ensure that the brand message was accurately represented across all channels, and the guest experience lived up to the brand.
