On graduating from Cambridge University, Ray began his career in Strategic Consulting with Arthur Andersen’s Business Consulting practice in London. After earning his MBA from Kellogg, Ray learned the fundamentals of Brand Management in FMCG with General Mills.
With that foundation, he excels in today’s digital world because he can encapsulate the essence of a brand in a way that will capture targeted leads’ (limited) attention. That tenuous grasp provides him the opportunity to transition them into SQLs, and then customers, by carefully managing their journey – something that always requires synchronization across the organization.
Ray has extensive experience in B2B. His formative years in SaaS were with Thomson-Reuters. There he led the transition from books/CDs to online information/workflow solutions in international markets. Since then, he has stayed at the forefront of SaaS, as an interim CMO in sectors spanning Agri-Tech to Healthcare.
His consistent ability to deliver outstanding results for clients is a reflection both of, his mastery of the science of marketing, and the creative flair he brings to positioning. In terms of style, he’s a ‘sleeves-rolled-up’ CMO!
