About The Encompass Group

The Encompass Group is a management consulting firm specializing in HR/people operations and HR technology implementation. With over 20 years of experience, they position themselves as a comprehensive partner for organizational performance optimization through both workforce strategy and technology solutions.

The Challenge

When Encompass took over Genuine Replacement Parts (GRP) in 2022, it inherited aging infrastructure and a website built on legacy code that the founder had managed for over a decade. The job was to modernize that dated system and stabilize it for the future.

Our Approach

Chameleon Collective started by understanding GRP's legacy codebase and its bare-metal hardware. We migrated to a scalable cloud environment on Amazon Web Services (AWS) to remove the constraints of aging infrastructure. We also addressed security, patching outdated software and moving from PHP 7.x to 8.x with the code changes that required, optimized the code with modern frameworks, and planned the transition of GRP's large database to a flexible, scalable architecture.

The Impact

After migration, the GRP website was stable, more secure, and noticeably faster, with clear improvements in Google's PageSpeed Insights. That stability opened the door to technical SEO, targeted marketing, and new channels that had not been possible before.
