The Challenge
Wray Ward, a creative agency managing complex delivery cycles across marketing, media, and production teams, faced mounting inefficiencies caused by fragmented workflows, manual task routing, and low visibility across platforms. The need for a scalable automation solution was clear—one that could streamline operations, integrate legacy tools, and lay the foundation for AI-driven delivery.
Our Approach
As Technology Senior Director, I led the strategy, architecture, and deployment of "Fusion," an internal automation platform designed to unify systems and eliminate repetitive work. I designed 25+ live automation workflows and built over 180 prototype scenarios, directly embedding automation into core agency processes—spanning project intake, resourcing, client communications, and QA/proofing workflows. I introduced AI-powered training tools—leveraging NotebookLMs to turn SOPs and walkthroughs into searchable, interactive learning environments, and ensured tight integration with other enterprise platforms, including Workfront, Ziflow, and MarTech stacks—turning Fusion into a middleware hub that powered consistent, automated flows across teams and systems.
