Gaudicore was a tremendous success story for us in Executive Search. Gaudicore, a software solution specializing in microsegmentation, offers a powerful layer of ransomware defence and enhances Zero Trust security strategies. By leveraging microsegmentation, they effectively stop ransomware and fortify their clients’ overall security posture.
I was initially introduced to Gaudicore by their existing Head of Marketing, who engaged me to help find his replacement. This search led to a series of additional successful placements for their team, including leaders in Channel Marketing, Digital Strategy, and Customer Marketing. Over time, Gaudicore continued to return for our support with further strategic hires.
The story reached an exciting conclusion when Gaudicore was acquired by Akamai. One particularly rewarding aspect of this partnership was the equity we negotiated into each candidate's package. When the buyout occurred, many of these individuals were able to exercise their stock options, with some experiencing substantial financial rewards.
This experience underscores the importance of aligning talent strategies with organisational goals and highlights the value of thoughtful negotiation in creating win-win scenarios for companies and their new team members.
