About Blink Fitness
Blink Fitness has been rebranded and acquired by PureGym, operating as PureGym US with 50+ budget gym locations across New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and Virginia. The company offers flexible, no-commitment gym memberships with 24/7 access targeting price-conscious fitness consumers in the mid-Atlantic region.
The Challenge
Blink Fitness, an affordable gym franchise with over 100 locations nationwide, needed to build an agile, internal marketing, and advertising agency to expand its franchise network, boost creative production, and accelerate growth marketing. The goal was to elevate brand awareness and engagement, despite having a fraction of their competitors' budgets.
Our Approach
From late 2019 to 2021, Chameleon Collective stepped in as Blink's in-house creative agency, deploying interim creative directors, copywriters, designers, and growth marketers. Working closely with the CMO and CEO, we improved marketing process efficiency, produced high-quality creative, and launched monthly growth marketing campaigns at speed without compromising quality. From always-on social content to a Facebook Live trainer-led workout series, we found new ways to connect with the Blink audience.
The Impact
Our work helped carry Blink Fitness through one of the most challenging periods in its history. The marketing improvements raised brand visibility, member engagement, and internal process efficiency. Blink Fitness continues to rely on Chameleon Collective as a trusted marketing partner.
