Brian spent a decade at Amazon leading large teams in product, marketing, 3P marketplace and vendor management. He was also on the leadership team that built Amazon's brick and mortar strategy, inclusive of the first 13 Amazon stores. Prior to Amazon, he led sales and marketing for Jarden Sports (K2, Rawlings, Coleman) where he was responsible for sell-in and assortment management to Amazon, Walmart, Costco, Dick's Sporting Goods, Best Buy, etc. He delivers end to end distribution strategy inclusive of product development/assortment strategy, P&L creation, pricing marketing/ads, channel conflict, operations/supply chain and customer analytics. He is especially focused on Amazon & other marketplaces where he has mentored and advised hundreds of companies navigating decisions around 3P vs 1P and in house vs agency, directly negotiating with Amazon while helping companies build the competencies necessary to manage their own strategy long term. As a consultant Brian has led transformations and turnarounds for multiple large PE Fund (KKR, etc.) portcos up to $500M in sales in industries such as Sports, Outdoors, Home Goods, Manufacturing & Pet Products. He's delivered talks at industry events regarding Amazon strategy. He has an MBA from Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
