From Outsourced to a Self-Sufficient Team

Chameleon Collective began with a Gap Assessment and Strategic Recommendation that exposed resource gaps, missing skills, and opportunities tied to Komatsu Mining's objectives. The recommendations were holistic: a revamped organisational framework, clear role definitions and activity specifications, supportive technologies, and relevant KPIs. Moving from plan to execution, we built workflows through collective brainstorming so every team member found their place in the new structure. Training was central, with both marketing and creative teams coached on the new methods. We stayed on as mentors until Komatsu Mining's team could run it themselves.

Komatsu Mining integrated cross-functional marketing practices and streamlined its operations. The in-house team became fully utilised, which had a ripple effect: staff retention rose and the previous reliance on outsourcing was no longer needed.
