Marketing Organizational Design and Implementation
I have extensive experience in handling a wide range of organizational design scenarios, including mergers, marketing organization, headcount reductions, and the rebalancing of local, regional, and global resources. Priorities can include: Proximity to the customer Simplicity Cultural alignment The ability to deliver core marketing activities effectively My approach sometimes also leverages insights from a comprehensive Marketing Skills Assessment, which evaluates the team’s current skills and capabilities. This information informs our organizational design and ensures the team is structured for future success. These insights also support other capability-building efforts during the implementation phase. Typical deliverables can include: A clear set of design principles for the new organization An informed, agreed-upon final design (including structure charts, sub-team purpose statements, FTE numbers, and financial implications) An implementation roadmap Supporting materials such as briefing documents, job descriptions, and FAQs
