Over the course of his 25+ year career, Cave has named numerous brands and developed identities across a range of industries including food & beverage, technology, direct-to-consumer, cannabis, and sporting goods industries. Since he is a Creative Director with expertise in Branding & Design, he is keenly aware of how to make a brand distinctive. His clients include naming for Tune (cannabis grow lighting system), Hum (sugar-free chewing gum), Plush (gelato), Super Natural (healthy vegetable snack brand), Stevita Boost (sugar-free drink mix), and SmartFlex (sports protective gear technology). Cave creates brand names & visual identities that provoke curiosity, engage, and persuade. Before becoming a Chameleon, he worked as a brand design consultant at Freshmade, a leading design agency for food brands, as well as LPK, a global branding agency, specializing in strategy, design, branding, & brand innovation. Matt was also the founder and creative director of Crave, a leading branding & design agency. He lives in Asheville, North Carolina with his fiancée Julie and their dogs Romeo & Jax. When not designing or creating fine art, Matt's hiking or biking.
A group of brand identity, copywriting and marketing collateral experts from Chameleon Collective came together help launch a new SaaS and engineering company called Empowered Buildings. The project involved working with various stakeholders and leaders to deeply understand their industry, product, service and customers. Working side by side we crafted a visual identity as well as a voice and tone to set a professional presentation while also differentiating their brand in a crowded marketplace. Next we crafted the content strategy and full design of a sales deck their business development team could utilize in market. The deck beautifully captured the newly created identity design while showcasing the product and service offerings.
