The Challenge
Verishop, a startup backed by Lightspeed and led by Snapchat's former Chief Strategy Officer Imran Khan, was set to launch in June 2019. With the clock ticking, it needed to quickly build a high-performance merchandising team that was comfortable in a multi-brand environment and both entrepreneurial and analytical.
Our Approach
Imran entrusted Chameleon Collective with the task, recognizing our industry experience and ability to quickly understand the company's exact talent needs. We ran a targeted recruitment drive focused on Verishop's specifications and placed the first two key hires: the Director of Apparel and the Lead Buyer for Home. Their strong performance led to another critical task: hiring a Creative Director, whom we identified and onboarded in less than three weeks, further reinforcing Verishop's leadership team ahead of launch.
