Our client, is a growing multi-service organization is investing heavily in its customer data infrastructure and marketing automation capabilities. A newly launched Customer Data Platform (CDP) requires a hands-on platform expert to own HubSpot and CDP operations end-to-end.
This is a net-new role focused on platform ownership, segmentation precision, journey orchestration, compliance governance, and revenue-driven performance optimization.
This is a systems and execution role.
Position Overview
The Marketing Automation & CDP Manager will serve as the internal subject matter expert for HubSpot CRM and the Redpoint CDP. This individual will drive lifecycle marketing performance through precise audience segmentation, cross-sell and retention journey orchestration, inboxing health management, and clear KPI visibility tied to revenue outcomes.
This role requires confidence operating in evolving systems and the ability to translate business objectives into platform execution in partnership with data and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Own day-to-day management of HubSpot CRM and Redpoint CDP
• Build and manage lifecycle journeys across email, SMS, direct mail, and other customer communication channels
• Develop and validate advanced audience segmentation using behavioral and transactional data
• Drive cross-sell, renewal, and retention initiatives
• Monitor and improve email deliverability, domain reputation, and inboxing performance
• Ensure GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, and consent governance standards are embedded in all marketing workflows
• Maintain suppression logic, list hygiene, and privacy best practices
• Establish clear performance cadences within HubSpot and CDP tied to revenue and engagement metrics
• Serve as liaison between Marketing and Data/IT teams to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Contribute to the CDP roadmap and ongoing platform optimization
Qualifications
• 5–8 years of experience in Marketing Automation, CRM, or CDP ownership roles
• Deep hands-on experience with HubSpot
• Experience working with at least one CDP (Redpoint, Segment, Treasure Data, mParticle, Tealium, Salesforce CDP, etc.)
• Strong segmentation and workflow logic expertise
• Familiarity with email deliverability, domain reputation, suppression, and consent management
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with data and technology teams
Preferred:
• Experience launching or operationalizing a CDP
• Call tracking platform experience (CallRail, Invoca, etc.)
• Experience in multi-location, franchise, subscription, or lifecycle-driven business models
