Fit for Purpose: Transforming Blink Fitness’ Marketing Approach
Challenge:
Blink Fitness, an affordable gym franchise with over 100 locations nationwide, needed to build an agile, internal marketing, and advertising agency to expand its franchise network, boost creative production, and accelerate growth marketing. The goal was to elevate brand awareness and engagement, despite having a fraction of their competitors’ budgets.
Approach:
From late 2019 to 2021, Chameleon Collective stepped in as Blink’s in-house creative agency, deploying interim creative directors, copywriters, designers, and growth marketers. Collaborating closely with the CMO and CEO, we focused on enhancing marketing process efficiencies, generating high-quality creative content, and launching monthly growth marketing campaigns, all at an impressive speed without compromising quality. From always-on social media content to a Facebook Live trainer-led workout series, we developed innovative ways to connect with the Blink audience.

Our efforts played a crucial role in supporting Blink Fitness through one of its most challenging periods to date. The marketing enhancements and strategies implemented have resulted in improved brand visibility, member engagement, and internal process efficiency.
