Renowned as a print and mail provider in the Customer Communication Management (CCM) domain, FOS grappled with a dichotomy. They had to evolve their go-to-market strategy, while simultaneously launching a fresh suite of digital solutions. Battling market perception and lacking internal digital expertise, FOS turned to Chameleon Collective, seeking direction in an increasingly digital-first CCM landscape.

Our CCM aficionados at Chameleon Collective set the wheels in motion, commencing with a comprehensive assessment of FOS’s market standing. What emerged was a strategic roadmap. Liz and Mia, in their fractional roles, steered the internal FOS team, curating a revamped go-to-market strategy. This new approach not only spotlighted FOS’s digital assets but also distinguished them in a saturated market. Further, we redefined the brand’s narrative through revamped collateral and devised a strategy to leverage conferences and analysts to champion the FOS narrative.
Impact:
FOS underwent such a pivotal transformation that a rebranding became imperative to mirror its evolved offerings and market stature. Now recognized as Customer Communications Solutions within FIS, the unit is positioned to conquer the digital frontier, shedding its ‘print and mail’ image. This metamorphosis resonated in the industry corridors, with Fiserv (FOS’s primary competitor) acknowledging FIS’s newfound prowess. The latter’s industry round table presentation was so compelling that Fiserv discerned Chameleon Collective’s touch, noting how FIS outshone the rest. Post our involvement, FIS now boasts a proactive marketing team, replacing earlier struggles of aligning internal resources with market expectations.
