The Challenge

As FlexiDAO, a Spanish-Dutch startup specializing in 24/7 carbon-free electricity and carbon tracking software, prepared for its next Series A funding round, SetVentures, the lead investor at the time, engaged our team to conduct a comprehensive Sales and Marketing assessment. The goal was to ensure the company was commercially ready to scale and positioned for investor confidence.

Our Approach

Our work focused on evaluating FlexiDAO’s go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution, analyzing the structure and effectiveness of the sales organization, marketing team, and overall marketing strategy. We placed a Business Operations and a Marketing Consultant to deliver the propietary CLEAR assessment (CxO Led Evaluation And Recommendations).

The Impact

Our work culminated in a clear, actionable set of strategic recommendations—targeted not only at FlexiDAO’s executive team but also at new strategic investors, including Google and the Microsoft Climate Innovation Fund. These insights were key to aligning the company’s commercial engine with its growth ambitions and reinforcing investor confidence ahead of the Series A round. The assessment was delivered through a series of intensive, highly tailored workshops and one-on-one interviews with key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Product. Engaging executive leadership, functional heads, and critical individual contributors, each session was designed to surface strategic misalignments, identify operational friction points, and uncover opportunities to sharpen and scale go-to-market execution.
