The Challenge
Circle of Security International (COSI) had a mission rooted in connection—but their tech stack was doing the opposite. Their eCommerce cart was disconnected from their main site, forcing multiple logins and a confusing user experience. The cart platform was deprecated with no upgrade path, and an contemporary email solution was needed to enable segmentation. For a growing organization, the setup was broken—and holding them back.
Our Approach
Chameleon Collective began with a full tech audit, mapping every integration point and creating a visual flow of COSI’s systems. Leadership now had a clear view of what existed and what needed to change. We interviewed stakeholders to understand two key audiences: professional educators and parents. From this, we built detailed business requirements and led an RFP that selected Shopify as both the eCommerce engine and digital dashboard of progress.
Next, we brought in UX and UI leaders to design an interface balancing complexity with clarity—supporting multi-student orders, centralized certifications, and course materials in a seamless experience.
We worked with a systems integrator to launch the new platform and connected everything through a middleware solution. Now, 100% of data syncs to NetSuite, letting front- and back-end teams manage operations with ease.
The Impact
COSI’s new platform eliminated double logins and merged multiple systems into one clean experience. Admins can now self-service large orders, and customer data flows in real-time across platforms. What used to be manual and fragmented is now automated and scalable. With the right tech and tools in place, COSI is free to grow.
