Alex Hultgren’s career spans 20+ years of executive roles in corporations and agencies. Alex has expertise across the full spectrum of marketing – from strategy & planning to advertising & loyalty – in key industries, including automotive, manufacturing, technology/software, retail, and financial services.
Alex has proven how marketing can sustainably and predictably grow any business through understanding your customers, clearly articulating how your products and services can solve their problems, and then delivering superior products and customer service to convert those customers into loyal advocates.
Alex spent a notable amount of his career at Ford Motor Company, holding key roles such as product marketing manager for the Edge, managing the SUV retail portfolio for Lincoln Mercury, and leading the customer service digital team in North America to increase customer loyalty throughout the vehicle lifespan. Alex also served as Director of Marketing at Polaris, leading the Victory Motorcycles team by launching a new mid-weight bike and repositioning the brand to revitalize the dealer base.
As a fractional CMO, Alex has worked to craft product messaging and launches with Compatio, Sense Photonics, True ID Pro, and See-A-Star Labs.
Alex holds an MBA in Marketing & Strategy from the University of Michigan (Ross) and a BA in Economics from UCLA.
