Jim is a versatile marketing team leader with deep experience in professional services organizations. As the founder and CEO of Fahren, he helped define the brand, the marketing strategy, built the go-to-marketing offerings and built the customer acquisition systems.
Via Fahren, he had an 12 month interim role as the VP of Digital Media for MediaSpace Solutions, a 50 person integrated media firm. In that role, he established the programmatic, direct response and video media practice. He also led efforts to build a digital marketing team, drove the recruiting and hiring, and set up the offerings for the practice. Also helped develop their digital media stack for planning, buying, and ops.
Previously, he was the VP Of Marketing at GoKart Labs (a venture studio, growth parter, and software development firm) for two years. There, he led the growth efforts (marketing and business development), and also led the marketing practice to support client engagements. This work included brand development, customer acquisition, CRM and retention strategies and marketing innovation. The primary focus was on Paid Search (CPC, CPL, CAC, branding), SEO and lifecycle messaging. Through all engagements, Jim is focused on developing the talent and leadership of the team, and creating the conditions for agency partner to do their best work.
