The Challenge
John Hardy, a luxury jewelry brand with a 40-year legacy of handcrafted artistry in Bali, was moving from a wholesale-only model toward direct-to-consumer, mainly through retail stores. To meet consumer expectations, the brand needed to strengthen its digital presence and capabilities, and engaged Chameleon Collective to lead that transformation.
Our Approach
Chameleon Collective placed an Interim SVP of eCommerce inside John Hardy to set the digital vision and a roadmap to reach it. The plan covered building and reorganizing internal and external teams, investing in advanced technology, and developing a full growth model and budget for 2019. To accelerate the work, Chameleon also added a CRM specialist, a digital marketing strategist, and technical resources to the team.
The Impact
The Interim SVP built a capable team and made real progress on the digital roadmap, setting up a smooth handoff to a full-time hire and keeping the transformation on track.
