From Growth to Maturity: Elevating Design Leadership at Cypress

Chameleon Collective embedded with Cypress’s product and marketing leaders to understand how design functioned day to day. We focused on where product, brand, and systems intersected, knowing that alignment—not aesthetics alone—would drive progress. Through targeted searches, we recruited a Senior Product Designer and a Marketing Design Lead with experience operating at scale. We prioritized systems thinkers, strong collaborators, and leaders who could pair strategic vision with hands-on execution. Just as important, we sought designers who could build lasting capability—setting standards, mentoring teams, and strengthening the organization from within.

The new design leaders brought clarity and cohesion across product and marketing. Design standards improved. Collaboration became easier.
