The company offers flexible, no-commitment gym memberships with 24/7 access targeting price-conscious fitness consumers in the mid-Atlantic region.

The Challenge

Blink Fitness, an Equinox-owned gym chain with more than 100 corporate and franchise locations, wanted to expand its network and increase creative output on a budget far smaller than its competitors'. It needed an efficient marketing and advertising partner to build awareness, drive engagement, and fuel growth.

Our Approach

From late 2019 to 2021, Chameleon Collective acted as Blink's in-house creative agency. We supplied interim creative directors, copywriters, designers, and growth marketers to produce content and run growth marketing campaigns. Working with Blink's CMO and CEO, we delivered always-on social content and a Facebook Live trainer-led workout series, and our growth team fully overhauled Blink's marketing, cutting acquisition and staffing costs without sacrificing speed or quality.

The Impact

Our lean staffing model and marketing approach cut new customer acquisition costs 49% and staffing costs 41%, while delivering high-quality creative and growth campaigns quickly. Guiding Blink through one of its most challenging periods made us a lasting partner; we continue to support its growth in a competitive industry.
