With over 25+ years of marketing, media and sponsorship experience, before joining the Chameleon Collective, Ed was Head of Brand Marketing at State Farm. In this role, Ed led marketing strategy, creative development, as well as media and sponsorship efforts for all of State Farm’s Property & Casualty (Auto & Home Insurance) product lines and multi-cultural segments, including all digital, performance marketing, lead generation and multi-cultural efforts. After leaving State Farm, Ed began his Marketing Consulting practice, as well as starting his own esports and gaming agency, Inverted. While at Inverted, Ed and his team created the Tampax Gaming Fest for P&G.
Ed has been named an “Online Media All-Star” and under his leadership of State Farm’s media and sponsorships, the brand was named the “2016 Sports Sponsor of the Year”. He has overseen major partnerships with the NBA, Patrick Mahomes, Disney/Pixar, ESPN, MLB, Telemundo, NCAA, Lebron James and Apple.
In Esports & Gaming, Ed led State Farm into this new area, as the first major brand partner of NA League of Legends, and created partnerships with OWL, Rocket League and NBA2K League. He has driven Influencer programs with top gamers and teams including DrLupo, Valkyrae, CohhCarnage, KittyPlays, Team Rogue, TSM, etc.. With Twitch, he helped create influencer content marketing campaigns and charity stream efforts.
