With over 25+ years of marketing, media and sponsorship experience, before joining the Chameleon Collective, Ed was Director, Media & Sponsorships and then Head of Brand Marketing at State Farm. In these roles, Ed led marketing strategy, creative development, as well as media and sponsorship strategy and execution for State Farm’s Auto & Home Insurance product lines and multi-cultural segments. This included all traditional, digital, performance, lead generation, addressable and Direct Response media efforts. Ed oversaw strategic investments in TV/OLV/CTV ($300MM+), Paid Social ($50MM+), Paid Search ($100MM+), Digital/Programmatic ($50MM+) and Sponsorships ($100MM+). He expanded State Farm’s marketing and media through innovative thinking while achieving business goals and KPIs. Ed has been named an “Online Media All-Star” by Mediapost.
Under Ed’s leadership of State Farm’s media and sponsorships, the brand was named the “2016 Sports Sponsor of the Year” and the “2019 Esports Brand of the Year”. Ed has overseen partnerships with the NBA, Disney, ESPN, IHeartMedia, Live Nation, Facebook/Instagram, Hulu, Riot Games, NFL, Telemundo, NCAA, Snap, Apple and Patrick Mahomes.
Previously, Ed was SVP/Media Director at Kalis & Savage Worldwide Partners, VP/Sales & Business Development for Executive Sports International, and VP/Associate Media Director at DDB Needham Chicago.
