Interim CRO, with decades of experience driving growth through marketing, product innovation, distribution expansion, biz dev and high value partnerships in e-comm, marketplaces, D2C, licensing and traditional retail. He provides end to end leadership inclusive of product development, P&L creation, marketing/ads, pricing strategy, channel conflict and customer analytics across traditional retail (Costco, Wal-Mart, Dick’s, etc.), D2C, and Marketplace/E-comm (Amazon, WM, etc.).
He built and led Amazon’s Sports and Outdoors business development and brand acquisition teams, beating all goals and delivering thousands of new brands to the platform. Brian built Amazon’s Influencer Program, which delivered triple digit growth for brands and free cash flow for Amazon working with Influencers such as Zack Efron, Chris Pratt, and Serena Williams. He also built Amazon Sports first partner marketing program with the Boston Marathon, Fanatics and the X Games. Prior to Amazon, he led sales and marketing for Jarden Sports (K2, Rawlings, Coleman) where he was responsible for sell-in and assortment management to Amazon, Walmart, Costco, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Best Buy, etc.
He has an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
