With 20 years of mobile/digital experience, Jonathan has held several roles in the mobile industry, most notably as Global Director of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA).
At the MMA, Jonathan led the various association committees to stimulate the growth of mobile marketing and its associated technology. These committees included agencies, advertisers, hand held device manufacturers, carriers and operators, retailers, software providers and service providers, as well as any company focused on the potential of marketing via mobile devices. Jonathan played a pivotal role in establishing best-practices and guidelines in partnership with the major telecommunication carriers.
He has been a keynote speaker to a combined audience of over 35,000 people over the course of 70 events and conferences throughout Europe, Middle East, U.S. and Canada, covering various topics around mobile marketing technologies, marketing best practices, airline innovation, and mobile strategies for brands and agencies.
Jonathan was featured alongside many other key industry experts in the book “The Art of Mobile Persuasion” in 2015, written by Jeff Hasen. He was named “Top 40 under 40” Innovative Brand Marketers in 2012 and 2019 by Brand Innovators and has been featured in many journals such as the Mobile Marketer, Mobile Mixed, Untethered.tv, Mobile Commerce Daily, Digiday, GoMo News, and USA Today
