Vu has over a dozen years of experience consulting with marketing agencies and brands, working with their digital marketing, web analytics, ecommerce, and CRM data. His specialties include integrating data from multiple systems, developing automated dashboards, and developing machine learning and predictive models to automate the bidding and messaging for online advertising campaigns. One of his recent projects was featured in AdWeek as one of its 2019 Media Plan of the Year winners.
Vu has worked extensively with retail clients, both online and brick-and-mortar. He was the lead SEM data analyst for JC Penney, Office Depot, and Saks Fifth Avenue. He developed data warehouses and dashboards for Lord & Taylor, Nest Fragrances, Erno Laszlo, Janie + Jack, and Francesca’s. And he worked with retail-focused startup CloudTags to develop product recommendation engines for Harvey Nichols, made.com, and Sub-Zero/Wolf.
Vu has also taught data science at General Assembly’s Atlanta Campus and at Mercer University’s Stetson School of Business and Economics.
